You can take over a Council managed green space and improve it.

The Adopt a Green Space team will co-ordinate with the Council.

Adopt a Green Space in a nutshell:

Things being how they are, many councils are having to cut back on the maintenance of their green spaces.  This often means concentrating their resources on their flagship parks. But a council will also be looking after a lot of small green spaces.  Adopt a Green Space is about them.

Where are you?

This new initiative has been launched in the London Borough of Merton, with the support of Transition Town Wimbledon and Sustainable Merton.
